Part 2: Parking Cards for people with a disability

Yes

Other (please specify): All disabled persons of groups I and II or persons carrying them have the right to Park at the places indicated by the road sign 5.15 "Parking Place" with the additional information sign 7.17 "Disabled" (or by the prohibiting road sign 3.27 "Stop is prohibited" together with the sign 7.18 "Except disabled persons"). At the same time, group III invalids or persons who transport them have the right to Park in such places and use the appropriate sticker only if the disabled person has musculoskeletal disorders.

Are there minimum dimensions for the size of a parking space reserved for a person with a disability?

Yes, each Parking space for people with disabilities is about one and a half times wider than usual – 3.5 meters against 2.5 meters. The marking must be clear (the line width is  10 cm). The place must be marked with the appropriate sign. Also, for Parking lots with low lighting levels, it is advisable to apply reflective markings and use reflective signs. The distance from the Parking space to a building that belongs to health care facilities and other facilities visited by the people with disabilities must be close.
